I have never thought that my Blackberry (Curve 8300) was a particularly good camera… it takes fairly grainy pictures most of the time (which is probably more my fault than the camera’s), but I have never been troubled by this fact, mainly because I mostly use the camera at work.
You see, from time to time, while I am conducting training, I take a picture of something that I may need to jog my memory… I can also use the camera to document safety violations, damaged weapons or even (God forbid) and injury.
All that is very fine, but the truth is that I just like to take the occasional picture when I am out and about in my regular life. The problem is that I wind up with a ton of pictures taking up memory on the unit, so every once and a while I have to go through them and get rid of some of them… which brings us to today.
This week is Blackberry Photography Week, here at A Modern Warrior’s Life. I am going to share some of the crappy (and sometimes not-so-crappy) pictures that I have taken, and tell you where I was, what I was doing, etc…. Sure, I know it’s boring, but it is my blog you know.

Well, after ascertaining that no one was hurt in the incident (and laughing my a** off) I took this picture and sent it back to the guys in the office telling them that they shouldn’t bother me when I am on vacation having a good time. I am here to tell you shooters, that this picture generated a great deal of email, because I am not known to be the most jolly, humorous person in the division.
