Hot Fun In The Summertime

Well... there has been enough depressing news of late, so I thought that I would share something different with you today.

Todays's topics is that same as the title:  Hot Fun In The Summertime.  Not only is that the title of one of my favorite Sly & The Family Stone songs, it is also a state of mind... a place I  like to visit at this time of year, because despite the fact that temperatures that span from the high 30's to the high 40's have given us a tremendous amount of snowmelt, it is still winter in these parts, but spring is coming. 

Yes, Spring is coming, and it is followed by summer.  I know, it is still cold, the evidence of which is demonstrated by the fact that I nearly busted my butt on the ice as I was getting into the car this morning (I didn't fall, but my recovery was undignified).  I am tired of winter.  I am tired of snow and ice.  I am tired of the cold... and unless I miss my guess, you are too.  So, let's think about summer shall we?
