Stream of Consciousness - Again

Did you see the American Music Awards last night?  I'll write more about the show later this week (maybe), but I want to say one thinkg about it now.  "What in the world was Adam Lambert thinking about with that performance?"  Seriously, dude, are you trying to ruin yourself before you get off the ground?   Mrs GF seems to think that you have a career death wish.  Judging by your new CD cover, and mediocre first single, she might be right.

Why does anyone care what Oprah Winfrey is "going to do next"?  It's not like she is ending her show next week (or even next year).  I get the Oprah is special to some people... but seriously, this must be the slowest news cycle in months!

Speaking of slow news cycles. Why is anyone paying attention to Sarah Palin?  Still.  Mrs Palin is an interesting-like-a-car-wreck sort of person, but I don't get the whole "Palin's book tour is going rogue!" excitement.  It isn't like she wrote the book... and let's be clear, it isn't like she is going to be anyone's serious Presidential candidate in the next election cycle.   Sarah Palin is a curiosity, not a contender (unless you are some sort of idiot, and would actually consider voting for her).

In about an hour, I have to go do my Thanksgiving shopping.  Big fun, I tell you.  Any locals want to meet for coffee at Wegmans?

Later today, I am going to start pulling out the Christmas music, because starting Thursday, it's all Christmas all the time in my house.

The trash collectors are nearing my street.  I can hear the engine of the truck, and the beep-beep-beep sounds that it makes.

I'm not going to shave today.
